We Ski For The Nintendo Wii Game Review

We Ski is available for the Nintendo Wii from Namco Bandai at a price of $29.99. This game looks at skiing in a light, whimsical manner. The balance board is used for skis and the poles are controlled by a combination of the remote and Nunchuk.

The game begins after you select a character. You can create a skier of your own or go for a premade character. Alternatively you can import one of the Miis from the system. There is a high level of customization that can be done with characters. There are 180 pieces of gear and 220 body types

With colorful stock options and ski suits this is one rainbow hearted game. After choosing the character, feel free to tempt the slopes. Only one track can be unlocked. and it is a secret one. You can either start from ski school or at the top of the slopes. I found learning basic techniques at ski school appropriate.

Even the advanced controls are simple and can be easily mastered. There are 70 freestyle events, 20 slalom courses, 20 races and 5 mogul sections. Your stats remain the same from the beginning to the end so as to keep the complete game accessible to all users.

What I liked about We Ski was the inviting open environment. With simple controls and lack of progression, this game aims at accessiblity. With the affordable price tag, this is one game I would rate as easily accessible.
