Wario Land:Shake It for the Wii Game Review

Wario has received a critics nod in his Wii debut. Now this antihero is back on the Wii in Wario Land: Shake It. Once you get a chance to play this game you won’t want to stop. You need to shake the Wii mote a lot. When you do this a number of special moves can be performed by you. You can tilt the remote to fire Wario from a cannon if you choose.

The introductory level is called Aboard the Sweet Stuff. Here you have to go through five areas as you try to rid the Shake dimension of the Shake king. The Shake king owns a bottomless coin sack which you try to get hold of as well. Five bosses stand in your way. You get to rescue a merfle from each stage. You get to hunt treasure and pick up bronze, silver and gold.

By rescuing the merfles and with the help of their power you can access the boss. The second zone is called Wiggly Wilds. Consisting of a number of locales, the Wiggly Wilds is an interesting trip. Mt Lava Lava the next level figures Wario in the womb of a live volcano. The game has great structure and a logical and linear as well as lateral plane of movement

The look of the game, much like a Saturday morning cartoon endears it to the player. With an apt artistic style and amusing animations, this is not a game you will put down to soon. Check it out, worth the buy at $49.99.
