Trauma Center: New Blood for Nintendo Wii Game Review
This game is available for the Nintendo Wii from the publisher Atlus Software at a price of $47.99. It isn’t your run of the mill common type of game. It isn’t about shooting enemies in World War 2 or saving the world. So what is it about. Lets find out.
Imagine blood, sweat and gore. And squeezing fun out of it all! Yes that is exactly what this game is about. Believe me it did not gross me out. If you wanted to be a surgeon without the (uhm) trauma, then Trauma Center is for you.
You get to be among the great surgeons Valerie Blaylock and Markus Vaughn. There are funny twists to the story like where a rich kid fusses over the fact that his appendectomy is too cheap and another kid does not have the means to pay for his, so you play god by billing the rich kid for both!
The dialogue and plot details are dull at times. The gameplay is amazing though. You get to fictionally operate on people – graft skin, face stigma’s, treat a shotgun blasted dog and more. But be warned if your patient dies you might just leave surgery unable to overcome the shame!
All in all this is one dose of blood and gore that is done differently. Believe me it is done well. If you want to step in the shoes of a great surgeon try this game out!
