Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All Play For The Nintendo Wii Game Review

This is one golf game that is easy to play. Your virtual club will handle the golf club pretty well. The All Play control scheme is brilliant. With revamped swing, it still feels similar to the previous edition. You need to twist your wrist while swinging to put draw or fade in your swing. There is very little lag between the your hand movements and the virtual golfers shots. It feels good.

Experienced golf gamers will find the swing mechanic fine, and a lot of the guesswork goes out due to the All play control system. Onscreen, the exact arc of your shot will be drawn and if you hit the ball hard enough, where the ball lands will be no mystery. You can’t use All-play controls when playing online.

In this new game, there are five new courses – Sheshan, Sun City country club, Bay Hill, Wentworth and Wolf Creek. They wont be as sharp as the PS3 and 360 versions, playing is still fun. Hank Haney, Tiger’s real life golf coach features in the game. There is a club tuning feature. There is also a multiplayer party mode and a number of minigames.

Golf game rookies will find the All play control scheme appealing. The control scheme emulates the golf swing better than the PS3 and 360 versions. This is a game you must own.
