Thrillville: Off The Rails for The Nintendo Wii Game Review

Thrillville: Off The Rails is an offering of Lucas Arts Entertainment and is available on Amazon for the price of $32.99. This is one game that does not renege on the promise of wholesome family fun. You get to create an amusement park of your own, play games and go on rides. There are also 50 minigames in this one.

If you are playing single-player, you get to be the manager of a theme park. You have to please guest, get good critical reviews and protect your parks reputation. You can unlock new parks by getting thrill points which depend on your success as manager.

Off The Rails allows you to set prices, run ad campaigns and do much of what you would probably do irl as theme park manager. The other part of the experience of Thrillville is using what you have built. I liked the originality of some of the games here.

Although Thrillville does not score a perfect 10 in the good looks department, I loved the cartoonlike style that is so vivid and colorful. One problem with the Xbox version is the frame rate. The Wii version is better. Nonetheless audio is brilliant. It will be very popular with the young crowd.

Whether it is the hours spent building the park or the hours spent enjoying it, Thrillville proves to be wholesome fun for all ages. Recommended.
