Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone For The Nintendo Wii Game Review

Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone is available for the Nintendo Wii at a price of $39.99 from Electronic Arts. It is essentially a trivia game. Both kids and adults can enjoy the more that 20,000 questions that come with it.

If you are with a group of pals, it is a good way to pass time. You can play it in three ways. You can play by yourself, with upto 3 pals or with pals in a race against time. Trivia is best enjoyed competitively so the friends mode is most enjoyable.

In this game you are asked age relevant questions based on the age you input. Questions will appeal to all ages. Game length is customizable as is scoring type. If you play in “Countdown” mode then the length of time you take to answer reflects in your points. In “wager” a shooting minigame can determine the question’s value.

You also spin a wheel using the Wii Remote which lets you choose between arts, entertainment, fashion, books, video games and sports. The questions are multiple choice, but specific so you need to be sure of what you are being asked. You have to buzz in before answering. Sometimes the game does not recognize when a person buzzes in.

This game gets quite exciting when it comes to proving that you are the smartest one around, although I must admit the presentation is a little dry. This is a one of a kind game on the Wii and so is something that must be had, specially for trivia lovers.
