Scene It For The Xbox 360 Game Review
Scene It, the game, is available for the Xbox 360 from Microsoft at a price of $59.99. This game has been a favorite at parties for a number of years. It was DVD based and now it is on a console. If you are a Hollywood buff, you are going to enjoy this game. A game that tests your Hollywood knowledge from the 1950’s to 2007, this one is for film nerds.
This game can be played with the regular Xbox 360 controllers but it is so much more fun to play it with the Xbox 360 Big Button Pads that come with it. You have to hold these controllers in one hand and there is a big, colored buzzer button on top. In addition there are four more buttons.
The game can be played by only four players at one time. There is no online aspect to this game. This makes it less of a party game than it could have been. There are two game types. One issue with the game is that it is predicatable.
The game begins in a Hollywood movie lot with the host taking you to different areas and questioning you. The value of one question is 2000 points with the value decreasing with time. Wrong answers do not attract a penalty.
In “Childs Play”, a childlike drawing of a movie scene fades with time. “Invisibles” makes you guess the movie by a photograph. Fast answering or answering many questions in a row gives you bonus points. In sum this is a fun game that could have been much better. It is new and fresh and if you are into movies, you should check it out.
