Playground For The Nintendo Wii Game Review
EA Playground is available from Electronic Arts for the Wii at a price of $39.99. The atmosphere is a bit cartoonish with vibrant grass, big headed kids and pristine surroundings. It is an ideal playground. This is a pack of many games from Dodgeball, Paper Airplane Racing, Slot Car and Tetherball. Some of these games replicate the fun of real life game playing pretty well.
You begin the game with the welcome sound of the recess bell. You enter a small playground full of kids. Here you can enter into competitions with kids to a game they choose to play. If you win, you can buy power ups and the ability to challenge tougher competitors as well as playing in other areas.
Dodgeball is perhaps the most popular game to be played in this pack. The multiplayer matches are the most fun in this game. In Wall Ball, you smack off a ball from the wall in turns. Kicks is another interesting game that is a mix of soccer and volleyball.
If you want to play less competitive games try out Slot Car Racing, Dart Shootout or Paper Racers. You can also look for marble bags hidden around the ground to buy power ups. This is one game pack that has a collection of games that can appeal to a very diverse age range. That combined with the fact that Playground is not too expensive make it a good gift to give to a child.
