No More Heroes For The Nintendo Wii Game Review
No More Heroes is an action game from the vendor UBI Soft. It is available on Amazon at a price of $49.99. This is one nutty action game. Eccentric to the core. This is what makes it so unique. Great action along with intrigue are what makes up this game.
Lets go to the story. The protagonist is Travis Touchdown. He is your typical dude – into action figures, porn and cards. He gets involved in a world of assassination and intrigue. His weapon is the “katana” – remember star wars lightsaber? Also part of the game is the sexy, sophisticated dame – Sylvia. Other characters in the game include boss characters.
Side money is earned by you filling gas tanks and mowing lawns. With more money you can change your weapon. Basic combat is simple using the A and B button of your Wii mote. Finishing moves are accomplished by Remote-waggling. It is fun using the Wii Remote as it generally is.
The action is a bit cartoonish. There are also darkside powers to be had. Some of the combat is subtle. The boss encounters are the high points of action in this game – quite exciting.
Apart from the action, roaming about on a motorcycle is another thing to do in this game. Visually the game is colorful. The sound design is excellent. You can expect 12 hours of satisfying action play on this one. Recommended.
