New Adventure Island for the Nintendo Wii Game Review

This is an old game that was available on the TurboGrafx 16 way back in 1992. The Download Channel made this game available again on February 19, 2007. This game will set you back by 600 Wii points. I would like to tell you if it is worth it.

I enjoyed the game for its audiovisuals. The graphics were catchy and so was the music. The plot was good as well. You get to play Master Higgins who is out to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. You could find a few similarities with the Mario series.

On the whole however, it is very different. You do not get too many moments of relaxation in this one.You need to have good reflexes to play this game well. Progressing through levels quick amidst fast paced action is required.

Unlimited continues mean that you do not have to repeat the game again and again. Although after a time you might get bored of the repetitiveness, on the whole the game is fun. In addition the controls are good.

So back to the point – is the game recommended? Yes but preferably only to those who enjoy tough old school platformers. Else you are likely to give up on the game too soon.
