Metroid Prime 3: Corruption For The Nintendo Wii Game Review

Metroid Prime 3 is available form Nintendo for the Wii at the price of $47.99 from Amazon.com. It is a worthy successor of the series. The sprawling metroid adventure can be mistaken for a FPS due to the design and battle style, but the entertainment value is intact.

It has been half a decade since this, the latest in the Metroid Prime instalment has wooed Metroid lovers. Some parts of the third instalment are predictable, but the formula is tweaked enough to surprise at times.

The storyline begins with an organic computer that is infected by a virus. Samus and gang are hard at work trying to repair it. An adventure follows, and the journey is more rewarding than the destination. The worlds traversed are imaginative and the characters both, friend and enemy are often known.

With the help of your trusty Wii Remote and the nunchuk you fight battles as you go on to achieve the heroic outcome of the game. With the help of the Phazon Enhancement Device you can enter hypermode by holding the plus button. Wits matter as much as weapons though. The boss battles are the most entertaining parts of the game.

Metroid fans should go right out and grab their copy of Metroid 3. If you haven’t played a game in this series, I suggest you don’t miss out on this gaming delight.
