Mario Party 8 For The Nintendo wii Game Review
Mario Party 8 is available for the Nintendo Wii at a price of $44.99. This bite sized gameplay is easy to digest. Mario Party goes to the Star Carnival on its introduction to the Wii. It is mostly the same Mario Party as the last eight years. The primary mode is like a board game. Four players play it and need to collect coins and stars. At the end of each round minigames are played.
Mario Party 7 had more minigames than this new offering. The Wii Remote is well used in this offering though. You will be able to do a number of things - swing at baseballs, shake soda cans, walk tightropes and more. Many minigames play four, but many are also one on own, two on two or one on three. The focus of the minigames is different and this keeps the interest alive.
The games rely more on chance than on skill and this is something I would change. The game features loud graphics and a blaring soundtrack. There are issues with the aliasing and gaudy borders. If I were you I would buy a more interesting minigame collection like Rayman Raving Rabbids. It is better use of your money and time.
