Mario Kart Wii For The Nintendo Wii Game Review
Mario Kart Wii is available for the Nintendo Wii at a price of $49.99. It comes with the Wii Wheel. The motorcycles and dirt bikes that have been included in the series do not take away from the enjoyment at all.
The Grand Prix mode is the highlight of Mario Kart. You get to play against 11 artificial intelligence players in this mode. The midair stunt system is a new feature in this game. The classic courses are another track based issue that is as good as ever.
There are mushrooms shells, starmen, fake item boxes and most of the conventional elements you would expect in this game. There are some new items as well like the thunder cloud, POW block and the mega mushroom.
All controller configurations are supported. Although the Mario Kart experience is still around there are subtle changes that take gameplay to a different level. This game allows for online play and is well integrated with the online experience. The Mario Kart channel is one very interesting online feature.
Graphically this game is much like its GameCube avatar. However there are also many little details adding to the gaming experience. The music is good and characters are very “Nintendo”. With interesting additions this 16 year old franchise proves itself as fresh and playable as ever.
