Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for Nintendo Wii Game Review

Fire Emblem is a release from Nintendo itself. Purchasing it would set you back by $47.99 on Amazon. It is bang for your buck only if you love strategy.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is the latest in the Fire Emblem Series of roleplay and strategy. There are certain elements which have lived through this series. These are young heroes, politics, War and its ill effects and epic settings. This story is not one of the strongest in the Fire Emblem series.

The game starts in Daien where a crazed kings had threatened to spread chaos throughout the world by attempting to free a dark god. Your mission is to command Micaiah to fight an oppressive empire. You fight one dimensional villains along the way.

The game does not show a great improvement on the graphics of Path of Radiance the previous game in the series. It is pretty reminiscent of the older game in fact. Some of the 3D cutscenes are good and I wish there had been more of them.

I was a little disappointed with this game. There were so many possibilities after Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn did not live up to them. Buy this game only if you are a big fan of this series, if you haven’t played a game in this series you would be better advised to spend your money elsewhere.
