De Blob for the Nintendo Wii Game Review

De Blob is the latest platformer for the Wii. What makes it special and enjoyable among every age group is that it takes a childhood activity and moulds it into a game so beautifully. Every child likes taking crayons and turning white paper into a vibrantly colorful one. This is what you will experience in De Blob.

The story of De Blob unravels through a number of excellent movies. Smart, funny movies are possible without dialogue as you realize in this game. INKT corporation, the evil entity in this game has sapped color from Chroma city turning the colorful Raydians into Graydians. It is now up to Blob to liberate Chroma city along with the Color Underground.
This game is metaphoric in a way and makes you think about the relationship between art and free society. By smashing into paintbots in each level, Blob gets himself colored. It is not too difficult to paint your way around and liberating in more ways than one. Single player mode is meaty but multiplayer is great as well.

There are three multiplayer modes – Paint Match, Blob Race and Blob on the Run. Outstanding content, sound, invigorating color and of course tons of content add up to make De Blob an immensely playable game.
