Castle of Shikigami III for the Nintendo Wii Game Review

Castle of Shikigami III is available for the Nintendo Wii from Aksys at a price of $29.79. This game could be classified as a vertical-scrolling shoot-em-up. This genre is almost extinct today.

This game does not feature flying devices like planes or mechs. Instead there are flying people - sorcerers. They control Shikigami. By this control they fly and essentially are heavily powered flight vehicles.

Apart from the fantasy anime, Castle of Shikigami III is a typical shooter. You have to fire ammo and dodge it. There are 8 playable characters in this game. Each has pros and cons.

One regret in this game is that the motion sensing abilities of the Wii are not used. Controlling has an old school feel to it. If you are a fan of the vertical shooting genre, check out the game - the price is irresistible.
